How to Manage Controls on your Child’s Device
When a device is first set up, one account becomes the main controlling account. That account can install apps, remove restrictions, change privacy settings, and reset passwords.
If your child is using the primary account, safeguards may be easier to adjust or remove than you expect.
Check for:
- Is your child using a child/family account?
- Is Screen Time or Family Link enabled?
- Do app downloads require approval?
