What is Stop Cyberbullying Day?

Founded in 2012 by The Cybersmile Foundation, Stop Cyberbullying Day is a global event that encourages people around the world to promote a kinder and more inclusive internet. Occurring on the third Friday in June each year, the day encourages individuals, nonprofits, governments, media, and public figures to come together against cyberbullying.

What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying refers to online per aggression delivered though technology to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behaviours by an individual or group with the intention of causing emotional, psychological, and even physical harm to others.
