Our mission is to transform cyber safety from a privilege to a universal right, ensuring every Canadian can confidently identify misinformation and protect themselves against cyber threats.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make Canadians #UnHackable by providing access to expert cybersafety education and digital media literacy skills. We are dedicated to teaching critical abilities such as securing personal devices, protecting online identity, and preventing cybercrime victimization.

Our commitment extends to fostering responsible cyber citizenship, with a focus on critical evaluation of information to counter disinformation effectively. We prioritize reaching all, particularly vulnerable groups like BIPOC youth, seniors, and new immigrants, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge for safe, confident engagement in the digital world.

By emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility, we strive to empower every Canadian to navigate the digital universe securely and intelligently, irrespective of their geographic, economic, or social circumstances.

Our Objectives

We empower people and communities to take decisive action in the digital realm:

  • Fight Online Mis-/Disinformation: Learn to discern and dismiss false information, become conscious of bias, and identify the factors that enable disinformation to thrive online.
  • Prevent Cybercrime: Secure your personal information, control your online presence, and comprehend the ramifications of your digital actions.
  • Spot Cyber Abuses: Recognize the value of your data to malicious actors and the warning signs of data misuse or theft.
  • Deal with Cyber Fraud and Privacy Violations: Gain an understanding of your privacy rights, the risks involved, and the steps for reporting violations.

Our nonprofit organization was created to educate communities, families, youth, seniors and other vulnerable sector individuals. Through our education, initiatives and resources we empower individuals and communities to prevent cybercrime victimization , detect cyber abuses and respond to cyber fraud and privacy invasions.

Most people understand the importance of being safe online, but few know how to actually go about doing it. We offer a variety of workshops, courses, and training videos that can help people of all ages learn about online safety. From dealing with online bullying to protecting your information and banking safely online, we cover it all. We also create custom curriculum for community groups, colleges and universities, school boards, and municipalities.

We are constantly inundated with news of identity theft, cybercrime, and data breaches. It seems like hardly a day goes by without another headline about some new way that hackers have found to exploit our personal information.  Our Initiatives like KnowledgeWise, KnowledgeConnect, Safer Internet Day, CyberCrimeFighters, Student Data Protection Day and many more, help youth and seniors stay safe online.

Resources

Protect yourself and your family with our cybersafety resources. Just Hang Up, Just Delete It, and Malware Symptoms are just three of our free resources that offer practical advice on how to stay safe online. Our library of tip sheets has been translated into multiple languages including Tamil, Tagalog, and Chinese. We will also custom create resource material for community groups, colleges and universities, school boards, and municipalities.
