Digital Galaxy Investigation

No single choice guarantees that an account will be compromised. However, using several weak security habits together can make it much easier for someone to gain access to your accounts.

Strong passwords are difficult for other people to guess. Avoid using your name, birthday, school, or simple number patterns.

Think of Two-Factor Authentication as adding a second lock to your front door. Even if someone discovers your password, they usually can’t access your account without the second verification step.

Acting quickly can help limit the damage. Letting trusted adults know and warning friends not to interact with unknown messages helps protect everyone.

When creating a password, think about:
– Is it long enough?
– Does it use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols?
– Does it avoid personal information (like your name or birthday)?
– Would it be difficult for someone else to guess?
