SUMMARY:Pink Shirt Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:Pink Shirt Day 2026\nBullying continues to affect people in schools\, workplaces\, homes\, and increasingly in digital spaces. On Pink Shirt Day\, wearing pink is a visible way to show that bullying is not tolerated\, online or offline\, and to reinforce this message year-round. In today’s digital world\, bullying has taken new and more harmful forms\, including cyberbullying\, as well as the growing misuse of AI tools to create deepfakes and deepnudes\, which can be used to harass\, humiliate\, or blackmail victims. \nShowing support matters. Many people who experience online bullying feel isolated\, especially when harmful content can be shared instantly and widely. Small actions like wearing pink send a powerful message that victims are not alone and that support is available. According to the Cyberbullying Research Center\, 33% of students report being cyberbullied in the past 30 days\, often through group chats\, social media\, or online rumors. Acts of solidarity can spark conversations that raise awareness\, encourage reporting\, and promote digital empathy. \nPink Shirt Day extends this message globally\, standing against bullying\, discrimination\, homophobia\, transphobia\, and transmisogyny. We commit to creating safer spaces and addressing emerging threats like AI-enabled harassment\, helping protect dignity\, privacy\, and well-being in an increasingly connected world. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nResources\nPink Shirt Day In Canada: Anti-Online Bullying Awareness  \n\nView our tip sheet to learn more about Pink Shirt Day and how to navigate cyberbullying\n\nAI-Generated Images: What’s The Big Deal? \n\nIn today’s digital age\, AI related harms are increasing.
